State of Me
I'm calling March a wash with reqs -- I made them for Neal, clearly, but unless I find myself getting particularly inspired by someone's EP, I'm just going to let Nick and Snape off the hook for now. Going on vacation and being so busy killed most of my mojo, and I had to drop a bunch of older threads. (If I dropped anything you'd like to continue, let me know, though, and I'll go back to it. I just got overwhelmed with what was left in my inbox.) Hopefully April will get me back on track. I don't have any concrete plans to app anytime soon, but I enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that I made reqs.I'm always open to doing private threads with anyone, for any reason, even if it's just for our characters to have a chat about nothing. I always need to get my pups out more, especially Nick, since he has been here so long and has seen so many of his friends disappear and is kind of running short on People He Knows.

Nick Stokes
(Look, I was not joking when I said that I was going to keep using that GIF until I found one I liked better.)
His fearplot will kick in soon. I will probably start mentioning it in threads in April, and then in May or June give him another EP where it is becoming more prominent. I don't want to be too mean to him by ramping it up all that quickly. He'll have enough trauma as it is, come Halloween. I still need to work out details on the clues and such that will lead Karen (and whatever entourage she recruits) to find him. There's a Grave Danger rewatch out there in the near future for me.
On a lighter note, he will totally love Old West Month. It will remind him of Texas and childhood and he will be like a little kid, I'm pretty sure. Old West Month is also a good time to start introducing his visions for fearplot, because it will be that much easier for him to brush them off as having to do with the change in scenery rather than anything more sinister. Other than that, he doesn't have a whole lot going on. I'm always looking for plot for him, though I'm terrible at generating it on my own. There's his wedding out there in the future, and I still like the idea of him maybe signing up to teach at Island School, once the new session starts, so I've got to keep an eye on that.

Severus Snape
I was going to give him an EP where he finds the Whomping Willow, but I'm thinking it may disappear as the landscape changes for Old West plot? I will have to read up more on that. If so, I may push that EP off until May, and find other things for him to do in April. He will be displeased by the Old West changes, but I really hope someone finds a reason to get him onto a horse. Maybe that will be his EP for the month, instead, although I also suspect that there will be a plethora of "non-horse riding person forced to ride a horse" posts, too, so.

Neal Caffrey
(I do not care that this is not a GIF from White Collar. It is a GIF that I need in my life, so there.)
So as I've said on Twitter, I basically want to play Neal 24/7 off of everyone. He is shockingly easy for me to play, and I look forward to having him make friends with as many people as possible under the guise of Victor Moreau, only to have his whole world come crashing down on him when a future Peter arrives. Even though it's many months in the future, I still yearn for the day that Neal has to do the walk of shame around the island to re-introduce himself under his real name.
I plan to give him another EP at the beginning of April, mostly because he just won't ever be quiet and satisfied until I do. I was hoping to do Neal vs. the Clothes Box, but I'm expecting the clothes box to distribute Old West style clothes, which he will find marginally more pleasing than the island's typical polyester horrors. Maybe he'll just get a generic EP instead, so I can save the polyester disappointment for a few months down the line.
I have a ton of ideas for him for plot but right now I still want him to be lying low for a little longer as he gets acclimated to the place. He isn't a guy that's particularly good at being idle, though, so it can only last for so long. By the time we get a Peter, I hope that Neal is kind of ubiquitous, with his nose in everyone's business. Party planning, island school, kitchen duty, the market, I don't care, I want him to know everyone and be involved in everything, which will make the walk of shame even more hilarious and also poignant because he'll have made all of these friendships under false circumstances.
OH. ETA. If Neal finds out that there's a mine with a hidden cache of gold, he is going to feel almost obligated to go check it out. Victor Moreau is just curious, Neal might want to steal it. Now accepting offers of people to come along with him, or who will talk about the gold around him enough for him to invite himself along.
tl;dr Neaaaaaaaal.
